Download DivX codec

You probably need a DivX codec!

Have you ever run into a problem where you download simple famous filename video clips such as .mpeg, .avi, or etc………..! And you are very sure that you’ll be able to play it since the player of your choice claims to be able to open and play those types of video files!

But for some Strange reason when you play that file you can only hear the sound of it Crystal Clearly but absolutely no Video Resolution of any kind!

How can that be? You probably ask!

Your first impression would be that there is something wrong with the video clip that only has sound but the video graphics is damaged maybe!

It’s really highly unlikely because what you really are missing is called a codec! Since we are currently talking about VIDEO Clips that means that you are most likely missing a VIDEO CODEC!

Codec stands for Coder/Decoder. A codec is really basically a piece of software or a driver that gives a support for certain video/audio clips! Without that codec you won’t be able to play those files to the fullest as you expect!

The most famous Video codec is DivX ! Then there are more such as Xvid and so forth!
